Reggie Leon Battise

Reggie Leon Battise was an actor, bassist and dancer who is perhaps best remembered as a long time member of Sha-Na-Na. Battise began playing bass for the nostalgic rock ‘n roll revue group during the late ’80s. Prior to that, he toured as part of popular party rock band, the Bus Boys. As a dancer and actor, Battise appeared in White Men Can’t Jump, Stayin’ Alive, and the Moonlighting television series. Reggie Leon Battise was 55 when he died of prostate cancer on October 8, 2010.
RIP, Reggie. I’ll always remember you and miss you. You were loved by many people. I’ll always carry you in my heart and remember what a gentle, compassionate man you were. I love you dearly.
